"The owners were lovely and gave us a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom cabin which was ideal for us with 2 young children. It had a well equipt kitchen. We did have a few ants coming in but when we told the owner they came down to spray the cabin. Great having a pool at the property for unwinding after a busy day in nature. The town was a 5 minute drive and it was really easy and cheap to get taxis there. Would definitely recommend staying here."

Hotel provided us with a wonderful base to explore Monteverde and the surrounding Cloud Forest. The view from our Mountain Room was superb and was a joy to wake up to each of the five days of our stay The rooms were comfortable and well appointed, if a little dated, but this added to the overall charm. The food for breakfast and dinner was great, with plenty of choice, and they were able to cater for a vegan diet, which was very much appreciated. The staff were amazing....
