Five star beach and pool, although there aren't enough sun umbrellas (and we went low season). Also the barrage of seagulls flocking in whenever someone decides to eat by the pool isn't nice. We also had our child's life jacket stolen off the beach. Great tasty food, lots of options for vegetarians but many of the fans in the dining room don't work and black birds fly around the dining hall trying to get a nibble of your food. Rooms are basic, the bathroom especially but they are clean which is what's most important. No WiFi in rooms for us was bliss, as we could really switch off. I'd recommend the hotel for the pool, beach and food but I'd steer clear of high season.

5 stars isn't enough! This is the most amazing resort I've ever visited. The private island feels like being all alone on your own personal beach....except with the kindest, most intuitive staff you could imagine. They would perceive our needs before you even realized we needed something. We were treated like royalty from the second we landed in Antigua. Jumby Bay does a tremendous job of being meticulously organized without making you feel pressured or rushed. I greatly appreciated knowing things I scheduled wouldn't get overlooked. They make vacation so easy and effortless that as a guest we got to relax and know they'd work out the necessary details. We were also quite pleased with the quality of the food. The chef will personalize any meal if there's something you'd like. I highly recommend Jumby Bay. It is expensive and I was hesitate to pay that much for a resort but after going once, i certainly see it's worth the expense. Jumby Bay has spoiled me for going anywhere else! I can't wait to go back.

A lovely hotel based on 'cottages' (chalets) set in beautiful gardens teaming with wildlife, on a peninsula with fabulous beaches either side and glorious views over a turquoise sea . It does not provide 5* luxury but is very comfortable, really well run and the staff, from cleaners to porters, receptionists and restaurant / bar staff are the stars: really friendly, natural, and with a ready sense of humour. The 'all inclusive' package feels generous, with decent wines and spirits included and pretty good food (and variety). Good value for money and a place we would happily return to.
