The hotel and surroundings were lovely but we were there as the coronavirus hit and the hotel was going to close. Each day there were less restaurants open, 1 for final 3 days of our stay with the same menu for breakfast and lunch for 4 days. Bar was running out of drinks on our 2nd day with only beer, club soda & ginger ale available on the last day until the beach bar closed at 4pm. The sun beds were being cleared away as we sunbathed and we were made to feel that we were an inconvenience still being there. Exercise classes were cancelled from day 2, as was waiter service & room service. Beach shop also closed. Too much closed/not available to list. The luxury all inclusive holiday we paid for WE DID NOT GET

      Beautiful property and very nice amenities. The location is also great, right on a small emerald bay between the hills. The all inclusive aspect was great as well, nice not needing to carry around credit card or personal info. They put a small rope bracelet with a charm on it on your wrist and you use that for everything, key, ID, etc. the food in the general dining was ok, but nothing to write home about, the Caribbean Grill was by far the best, service wise and the food. It is a fairly new resort and could still use some management help in regards to training the staff on customer service. We stayed in the bungalows and had no issues with out 2 butlers, but other service around the resort were on the poor side. My wife and I are very low maintenance and do not require or request much at all, but it did become a little bothersome when we would have to wait on staff to show up to various stations. Some bars were unattended with a line of guest waiting for service, concierge desk empty when we were called to go there, no hostesses at dining hostess stands multiple times, etc. The hostesses, bar tenders, and wait staff could be a little more welcoming too. It would be nice if when they were there, that they would acknowledge the guest before the guest has to acknowledge them. We were never in a hurry so this wasn’t a huge issue, but if I had to point out some dislikes or something that could use improvement, the customer service would be the main focus. Would go back again!
