Several great restaurants, but book ahead as they can be busy for dinner. We stayed here 8 years ago on holiday and are glad we came back, it was just as good as we remembered. "

"Was an ok find. Expedia states you can check in at 1pm, but it's 2pm. The room was well equipped with a kettle microwave and fridge. The bath mat could do with a wash, loo could have done with an extra flush, before we got there but it's not too much of an issue. The staff were friendly and JRR Tolkien's grave is in the cemetery opposite!"

"Property has been decorated to a very high standard. Car park easy to find and access. Very central location. Easy access despite no front desk, just a code emailed to access the car park and room. Higher numbered rooms are quite a walk up a lot of stairs though. Would pay a bit more for a lower floor next time. Called to ask if we could leave the car on the Carpark a little later than midday, and they were happy to help as the rooms weren’t at full occupancy the next night. "

"First time booking an apartment and no regrets. Large main room and bedroom as well as excellent bathroom. Everything you need to either eat in the apartment or take advantage of the multitude of bars, restaurants and cafes in the Town centre. Large screen smart TV with a the usual apps already installed. Full crockery and cutlery with coffee machine, microwave, kettle and large fridge with freezer compartment. Communication from Roy the manager was superb and ensured everything went smoothly...
