"We stayed in Criccieth studio apartment and it was perfect. Comfy bed, plenty of storage space, great kitchen facilities to allow for self catering. Lovely buffet breakfast in the main hotel building. Great choice of food in the restaurant in the evening. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is perfectly placed for discovering Criccieth and has good parking."

"Staff at breakfast time could be more pleasant and helpful. On first morning of breakfast the only fruit on offer were apples but the next two mornings they had melon and Greek yogurt. On our last day the pool was out of action which was disappointing, thankfully it was fine on our other two days. The hotel is very central."

"A lovely unique property full of character. Very friendly and helpful staff. Being an old building with many original features it has its flaws but they add to its charm. All beautiful original windows so no double glazing. They rattle if it’s windy! Our room got very hot even with the radiator turned off due to the old water pipes. We opened the windows and issue was largely solved. The views over Menai Strait were spectacular. The restaurant is excellent and well worth making a reservation.
