Tons of character

Staff could not have been more helpful. Home from home with super public areas and wonderful food. A gem we will visit again soon!

Lovely modern clean room and staff really helpful, great food in the restaurant and family friendly. Great park for kids just across the road

Beautiful location. Greeted by friendly staff who couldn’t do enough for us. So incredibly helpful. Room was perfect. Very comfortable. Breakfast was a Full-Cooked and was delicious. Extremely large portions. Would highly recommend this little gem. Excellent value for money.

I stayed in the annex luxury apartments which are fantastic. Amazing comfortable king size bed. Luxury bathroom and living area - like a suite set up. Two large TVs and kitchen - the sort of place you would buy.

Excellent ,friendly service, great food and best value for money around.

Place was easy enough to find with adequate parking right outside. On going in there was a friendly welcoming greating and there was nothing to check-in. After check-in we were asked if would be having an evening meal which we accepted. We had opted for a larger double room and it was clean and tidy and what you would expect from a rural country inn. Family get together for 2 nights. Food excellent, bar service very good and rooms spacious and clean.

Food was great worth the price! Whole team were fantastic from check in to check out. Accomodated us with a bigger room on the 1st before check in as we were booked in on the ground floor in needs with easy access room. really appreciated the care and attention to detail will be staying there again!

Great room, bed, air conditioning and general vibe. Would return happily

Comfortable room, nice restaurant/bar

Great location (10 minutes from M6)in a small English village surrounded by fields, fells and farms. The hosts are brilliant and provide great service. The fish is to die for. The bar is used by the locals who were very friendly unlike some places where they treat you as an intruder.

Great hotel.Really enjoyed two day stay.

Clean and spacious room, sitting by the fire in the bar is lovely. Breakfast was delicious, however the room was freezing, the amazing staff member serving breakfast did turn on the heating but it didn't help much.

Beautifully decorated hotel with excellent food and helpful pleasant staff.
