"Clean, quiet & friendly helpful staff "

"We loved our stay at Occidental Cozumel! The people were just so wonderful and showed us the most generous hospitality. The food was simply amazing and the cocktails were always fun and surprising. We enjoyed the beautifully manicured grounds and the traditional architecture. The snorkeling at the resort was pretty good, but while we were there we went on two different snorkeling tours to explore the Palancar Reef. What a wonderful adventure we had at Occidental!! "

"My husband and I truly had a wonderful time. Really the only thing that I could want to improve on would be the food at the buffet. I feel like if more authentic Cozumel/Mexican food was served that people would be more able to enjoy it. Italian night not so great and Asian night was OK. I will say there was one dish that was absolutely amazing and that was the chicken dish. It was thighs and drumsticks and a really yummy Asian sauce. "This was an all around complete property. Many positives about this spot, specially for families. Lots of entertainment and activities. Food is great and staff is amazing. Only negative I have for this is the size of the rooms. Very small. "
