Cow Tower: A Strategic Point of Defence

The English Heritage site is free to visit, bringing in history lovers from across the globe.

The three storey building stands at almost 50 feet tall, providing a powerful vantage point which looks out across the river, on the city's edge. Despite being one of the earliest of its kind, Cow Tower remains in good condition, giving visitors a real insight into the city's past.
