"We stayed just one night on our way to the West Coast, not in the centre, but it was easy to reach there. Having breakfast on the large terrace overlooking the river is a bonus. Good value for money. Staff are friendly and willing to help."

"Arriving you have to climb 8or so steeps and there was zero help with the luggage. Then you have to drive your car to a parking lot which is 5 minutes by car (as so many one-way streets) and then 5 minutes walk back. Arrived and people at front desk were kind and helpful (other than lack of bellmany but office door open, paper shredder working overtime, and it wasn't the wonderful experience I had hoped on first entry. Rooms well appointed with water and soft drinks (not a single biscuit or crisp -strange) but all in all nice, but not up to top par as it suggests Location perfect but please "fix how we enter our stay as it set the tone in the wrong way" and give me a biscuit for my tea in the morning"

"The gentleman on reception who checked us in was really lovely and very welcoming. The room was nice and spacious. Pillows were a bit too soft for our personal tastes and rooms could do with a kettle but otherwise very happy with our stay. Breakfast was nice also. Staff definitely stood out for us as being the best feature of this hotel!"
