For an Inn, the George Inn has blown my mind away from having that welcoming customer services to the comfortable, peaceful, luxurious stay overnight. I wished that I booked for a few days as the location was convenient to all attractions in the area. To top up off, the price is just attractive for a last-minute booking.

The decision to provide a stunningly appointed shared lounge/kitchen rather than a fourth bedroom speaks volumes about the proprietors philosophy of providing a truly memorably enjoyable experience for guests.

A lovely stay at the Pembroke Arms. There was plenty of free parking to the rear of the Inn. Reception was efficient and friendly. Our room - two double beds so for four people - was large and comfortable with lovely touches like TeaPig teas and ground coffee. The room itself was quite cold but reception turned the heating up for us and it was a really cold day so no complaints. Excellent hotel, super friendly staff and food superb

Very spacious room, extremely clean and comfortable. Fridge stocked with fruit, yogurt, milk, juice and cold water plus snacks. Nice for breakfast. The host was very friendly. Easy parking and really convenient for our trip to Stonehenge.

Had a great stay, room 1 was fantastic. We enjoyed the comfortable bed and a sofa was a bonus. Great bath, one thing to note may be the addition of a shower curtain, we managed to soak the floor every time we used it. Water and orange juice was a nice touch and filtered coffee was tasty. We did feel the stairs were very deep and the additional of another hand rail may be something to consider. Lovely dark room and we slept so well. Beautiful room with all that I needed for my overnight stay. I dined in the restaurant, and had breakfast, and the food was excellent. I would highly recommend the Belland Crown.

We stayed at the Chapter House for two nights (Friday and Saturday) as a base to visit Salisbury and the surrounding area and attend the Darkness into Light Advent Service at the cathedral on Saturday evening. The hotel is perfectly located for exploring the town and just a few minutes' walk from the cathedral. The staff were wonderful; friendly and attentive and happy to chat.

The owner were extremely welcoming. Was told that there may be late night noise due to the new night club opposite. Which didn't close until about 3am. Also informed that there was a function in the hotel which would finish at midnight. Also changed our room so any noise from the night club would not disturb us. Location was on a busy main road so exiting by car was difficult at times. Car parking although off road was tight. A bit too far to walk into Salisbury for an evening meal and nothing close by was good enough. Breakfast was hot and excellent, many choices. Staff very friendly. A very distinguished property with quiet rooms, no squeaky floorboards as we have seen and heard elsewhere. A lovely place and would stay again.
