"I think I got unlucky with the room is all. Air con didn’t work, no shampoo, not very clean, big stain on a wall, hairdryer sounded dangerous and was in dire need of replacing and the phone wasn’t answered when I tried o report and get help. Hotel was fully booked due to The Greatest Showman press night that I was attending and working at so I guess everyone was busy. "

"The staff really made this stay special… particularly the restaurant staff. We arrived and had no trouble parking - I think if busier it could be an issue. The check in was smooth and the receptionist were really helpful. The room was lovely - the hotel and the grounds are stunning. Food was exceptional as was the service. Will definitely look to stay again! "

"Our room was very small and the bathroom even smaller but the bed was comfy. As we were on the second floor our 2 small dogs were scared to go in the lift so we had to carry them up 4 flights of stairs. In the morning we had to carry them back down. Not at all practical really. But the breakfast was amazing."

"Very clean hotel in a lovely location, however the noise just after arrival from the function room on the same floor was off the scale, we stayed for 2 nights and on Easter Sunday we were woken at 8.40am with the same noise from the function rooms I believe a wedding was on. I emailed reception but as yet still not had an answer as to why the volume needed to be so loud the room was vibrating so that along with the £38 car park charge has left us not wanting to come back ever again."
