"Very clean rooms, cleaners knocked to check everything was ok with our room. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff had to be asked twice before anything was done. Food was nice in the restaurant, breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfast buffet I’ve had. Spa facilities very clean and staff friendly"

"Staff were nice, polite and friendly, as always, which is a big reason we've stayed a few times now. Along with the leisure facilities, which are maintained well. Heavy duvet, noting visit during extreme heat wave. No top sheet, finally enptied duvet cover of duvet, used cover as sheet covering. Travelers to UK, Europe need be aware hotels generally set A/C 'max'/min. temp. Customer cannot lower, adjust. Lobby noticeably comfortably cool. Mattress very comfortable. TV in odd viewing area if watch from bed. Nice older property with updated fixtures. Atmosphere pleasant."
