The staff were very friendly, welcoming and contactable at all times, the accommodation was clean and very comfortable, everything we needed was in the room. There was plenty to choose from for breakfast whether hot or cold and all hot food was cooked to order. I would highly recommend this guest house and would definitely stay again.

My partner and I stayed here for a weekend break, and we were both very happy with the hotel. From the friendly and welcoming staff, to the little extras in our spotlessly clean room, everything exceeded our expectations. Dinner was excellent, and the cooked breakfasts were agood way to start the day! We would highly recommend for anyone looking for a weekend away.

Our stay was very pleasant. Exceptionally friendly staff, particularly Sarah, who always went above and beyond to satisfy our every need Bedroom was a tad small. Food was excellent, with a really good variety to choose from. Breakfast in the Pullman was very different and most enjoyable. Will definitely stay there again.

A lovely house with lots of character in lovely grounds. Maggie and Chris were very hospitable and the breakfasts were very nice with plenty of choice. The only thing I would change would be to forget the lillies. I found the smell overpowering but that’s just my opinion.

I had a lovely stay this weekend at The Retreat. I was expecting a single room as I was a solo traveller but was pleasantly surprised that it was in fact a double bed with a very large ensuite (both a shower and bath). The room was a pleasant temperature, with only slight noise from the road (I had the window open for fresh air but at night the traffic is limited anyway so not an issue). A lovely family run hotel in peaceful grounds, run by the most enthusiastic and helpful hoteliers we have ever met. Comfortable beds, well equipped rooms and bathrooms and a lovely bar and restaurant, We had lovely chats with Stuart, Tom and Phoebe and would recommend Tyrrells Park to anyone wanting to stay in the Bournemouth / New Forest area.. 😁

Lovely little secluded place, perfect for staying over with a wedding at Sopley Mill. Place was beautiful, surrounded by trees and lovely little touches within the property. Thank you :)

Honestly this was the MOST perfect stay for a new forest adventure. i cannot tell you how special this place is you just need to go an experience it for yourself. Special shout out to ALL the staff, they were just as perfect as the room was. thank you thank you thank you. it was a dream.

We were made to feel very welcome the moment we arrived until we left. Lovely quiet location. Breakfast was a real treat with a wide selection. Excellent gluten free choices available. We shall return!

Lovely spacious comfortable room, very clean and beautifully quiet. Tea and coffee supplies locally sourced where possible as were a lot of items on the menu. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the hotel and really enjoyed everything. Bar well stocked with an excellent range. Attentive lovely staff, who know how to be in stealth mode and not interrupt while you’re in full swing of conversation.
