Wander through ancient temples where saffron-robed monks stroll past centuries-old stupas in the Old City. Night markets burst with local crafts and street food vendors who'll teach you to make pad thai if you ask nicely.
I took my 3 young children, we stayed 3 days. The staff were so delightful and kind. I really recommend this to other families. We had an enormous room with 1 super king, 1 double and 1 single and still enough room to have a party. Quite nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of Chang Mai

This hotel is fantastic if you're looking for an authentic Thai experience with comfortable rooms and a very friendly owner (and mum)
The room style was to our taste, the location was a short ride away to the main tourist attractions (about 40b per person). The owner Toy and her mum were welcoming and helpful but never overbearing. A great place and I would stay here again.

Fabulous place ! Located in the old city down a side street . My room was on the first floor . Very bright , good sized room. Basic but very clean. Really good feel . Outside areas full of plants . Seating at the front .
The “ help yourself “ breakfast room was amazing . Fruit , bread , tea / coffee facilities.
The lovely man who owns it was so kind . Gave me a map on the first day and highlighted all the places to go and see . I used it for 2 days while I was there .

This is a very quaint and nice hotel. The members of staff were really lovely and very helpful. We also thought the room was very bohemian and stylish. The breakfast in the morning is decent, however the star was the iced coffee. It may have been one of the best iced coffees I had on my holiday, or possibly ever, and was included with the breakfast. The only slight negative was the cockroach we saw in the bathroom one night. However our room was on the ground floor and we believe it may have...

Lovely hosts, and our stay was good. There was some kind of leak in the bathroom so there was a wet floor in there for our whole stay, which was not great. Lovely area though.

We stayed at Huen Hug for 2 nights late February. We chose the hotel based on its good reviews (albeit we were a little apprehensive about the small number of reviews given the hotel is fairly new).
In summary we had a fantastic stay. Staff are welcoming and extremely helpful without being overbearing. We had booked a twin room (as all the doubles were full) and on arrival mentioned to the staff we would have preferred a double (in case there had been any cancellations). There were no...

Great hosts! The bed was very comfortable. Shower pressure is good. The grounds are lovely, the pool was always spotless and the area is quiet. You do need your own transport as it is a half hour drive from the center of Chiang Mai, but there is lots close by. Hang Dong is only a ten minute drive.

A 3 night trip before returning to Bangkok for flight back to Uk. Must remember this is a bed and breakfast and not a hotel. However very comfortable, staff all very pleasant. Short walk to Night Bazaar. Room 201 is on mezzanine over reception, if like me you are a light sleeper will be woken during night by cuckoo clock.

Room was great, had everything we needed and get clean. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again

Clean room, friendly staff and with a few minutes walk of the night bazaar. To walk into the old city takes around 20 minutes - but lots to see along the way

After staying in many b&bs, guest houses etc all over the world, I can honestly say that this is the best one I've been to anywhere on the planet. Very, clean, superbly decorated in a vintage style, spacious and expensively finished, with an extremely comfortable bed, I could not find a single negative aspect during my stay. The staff were helpful and friendly and spoke good English. Next time I am in Chiangmai, this will be where I will stay.
