We felt the photos on Expedia did not accurately reflect the room. The room was not very clean, dirty toilet and walls. Our room was downstairs close to kitchen and felt very cramped. Knobs falling of doors, safe wasn’t working. The lady offered to replace it with another won but it wasn’t bolted into the wardrobe so there wasn’t much point. Upon checkin we weren’t able to check in to our room before finding a money changer to pay 1000 Bart deposit. We had just flown from another country so we hadn’t had time to covert our money. Overall not a positive experience, we are still fighting with Expedia to get a part refund. Stepping into the bedroom was entering a lovely cozy world full of beautiful decorative details that make you feel welcome, in a way only Thai people can do it. Jeff and his mom were always willing to help you with info about getting around Chiang Mai, and prompt to give you suggestions of things you should not miss while in town (like the local artisan market on weekends which I visited on my way to the airport). Would recommend The stay was wonderful. The property is in a great location and is well kept up. P and M Jeff were great hosts and very helpful with any plans we had. The rest of the staff there was also very attentive. They have great food and drinks at the coffee shop/cafe.
