We had an amazing time at the Spice Garden Hotel! The staff were hands down the most accommodating we’ve come across on our trip. On the day we were leaving our taxi was delayed because of the Songkran festival. When we told the staff our problem they got out 4 phones to see which one would give us a driver as soon as possible. The bartender also looked after us during our entire stay, even offering to dry our clothes when we got back wet from Songkran. The garden is the main attraction. One word: beautiful! It shows that they take care of it very well. During the day or in the evening, it’s the best place to relax, having a tea or a drink. The rooms are not big but well designed, and the view on the garden and the temple is beautiful. The service is great, everyone is always super nice and warm. I loved the laundry service, cheap and helpful, for those who stay a while in Chiang Mai. Breakfast “a la carte” is a nice bonus. Nothing exceptional but good and served always super fast (with a short selection of Asian and western dishes, plus fruits of the moment and drinks). Die Zimmer sind recht groß und schön eingerichtet. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das à la carte Frühstück ist lecker aber manchmal kamen die Gerichte nur lauwarm. Es ist lediglich ein Getränk inklusive. In der Dusche war der Wasserdruck sowie die Temperatur des Wassers leider Schwankungen unterworfen. Die Zimmer sind etwas hellhörig.
