"We had an enjoyable stay at this lovely property. Our hosts were both very welcoming and we felt that we could call on them if necessary. The Lodge is beautifully decorated and has been furnished and equipped for a very comfortable holiday. The property is situated a few miles outside Malmesbury which we found ideal for visiting many different NT sites as well as towns such as Cirencester and Tetbury."

"Felt like home immediately. Very cosy. The books everywhere, Shakespeare's buste...funny typical English weird dog lamp. Bathroom to die for. Bedrooms gorgeous. Did not see the ferret. And Fairford itself is a gem. "This hotel is absolutely superb. Room enormous, bed comfortable, well appointed, beautiful decking area and view out of the patio doors across the lake. Staff all very professional and friendly, breakfast pretty good, afternoon tea pretty good. I'd have liked a bit more choice at breakfast as a vegetarian: boiled eggs and marmite, some more vegetables? All a bit greasy. Also more cereal options? Afternoon tea would be better with home made scones! Spa excellent, pool area wonderful, treatments amazing. Gym facilities very good, and really helpful opening at 5am! Thanks, super all round."
