"Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. The accommodation is good, clean and spacious. We used the leisure facilities with large pool, a good clean sauna, steam room and jacuzzi. The food in the restaurant was excellent and good value. 10 minute walk into the centre of Betws-Y-Coed."

"Room was ok. Small double bed. No headboard, just the wall behind the bed. No hot water in peak times. No black out curtains at all. Lighting very dim in the room so impossible to put make up on anywhere other than the bathroom. "

"Our second visit and if anything it was better than our first trip which was excellent.. the hotel and parking are really lovely and all the staff were again very friendly and helpful and a credit to the hotel .. superb breakfast run like clockwork by Sue everything freshly cooked from a lovely menu We were allocated a lovely triple room but as my 89 yr old mum would have struggled with the over bath shower the lovely staff were quick to sort the problem out with another room with walk in shower well done to you all for a thoroughly enjoyable stay .. we will return "

"The hotel and staff were dog friedly with plenty of dog shops in the town , some lovely clothes shops and a fanastic shoe shop . The breakfast was 10/10 very hot when served to the table and a variety of cereals and other things "

"The room was not especially clean. When you went into the en-suite there were cobwebs, and not even at the ceiling level but just above eye level. The heating was on full, there's two radiators in the room, I turned them both off, but the room was still boiling because there was a very large pipe connecting the radiators and it was effectively itself a giant radiator which couldn't be switched off. Why does the building's heating need to be on full at 3pm in March anyway? The four poster bed was squeaky as anything. Any time one of us moved in the night, the other woke up. I can't imagine how other residents would've appreciated us working through the Kama Sutra. The staff member who checked us in seemed soulless. We didn't have the brekkie but then we'd seen he Four In A Bed episode where almost everybody got the wrong order and half of them got egg shell in their food. On the plus side, the extractor fan was attached to our ceiling so not all bad."

"Clean cosy room with a great shower. Fantastic view of Moel Siabod, weather permiting! Staff were friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was lovely. Good selection of food on offer , watch out for great value specials, the curry was great. Free parking for residents/customers. We will be back."

"Hotel was just ok, but they had an open fire in the reception area, which basically smelled the whole of the hotel out, and our clothes still smell of it. Had to leave the bedroom window open all night to let fresh air in, even though my wife was cold. On the plus side I would definitely go back to Llangollen it was lovely, but would not stay at this hotel."
