Great stay! Could t fault the accommodation at all! 5 min drive from zip world, host left some extras for us, tea coffee sugar milk bottle of bubbly and some chocolates and shortbread! Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! I’d recommend bringing some shopping with you, as the nearest shop is around a 30 minute walk away, however if you don’t mind driving it’s only 5/10 mins down the road to the...

The property was excellent everything we wanted . Beautiful views babbling brook Lovely countryside Pub only 1 minute walk away Just perfect

It was amazing, cozy and clean. Good to have driveway for parking and near to supermarkets, pharmacy.

Traditional cottage experience , Very welcoming hosts , Lovely location

Second time we've stayed here and won't be out last. Plenty of space with large kitchen and living area, comfy beds and lovely little touches like biscuits, milk, coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and even a bottle of wine in the fridge. Perfect spot for Bala and exploring the surrounding area. Definitely recommended

We had a very nice stay at Gowel, cozy, well equipped with all you need, located in good area with easy access to attractions points and hiking areas.

Lovely accommodation,exactly as described.

Lovely cottage on farm so quiet and peaceful very relaxing 2 days. stunning views of countryside

Beautiful, comfortable property in a great, secluded location at the bottom of a valley. Everything we needed was there, and the hosts were waiting with the keys to give us the tour. Dog friendly, but be aware that the garden is not fully fenced off from the fields and sheep roam through it regularly. I can see how the track to the house could be challenging in winter, but it was no problem in a rear-wheel drive coupe in summer, even in the rain.

The cottage was very quiet and remote yet the road is no problem at all. It has a stunning view and there’s a walk route where you can explore nearby villages and farm. The cottage owner was friendly and accommodating. She prepared freshly baked scones, milk, coffee, tea, sugar ready on our arrival. She checked on us as well twice to make sure we’re okay. The cottage was cosy and heating was perfect if you need it. The water pressure was superb and the kitchen is well equipped. Location wise,...

There are places you can stay and wonder if they are worth the cost. Rest assured this isn't one of them. Isolated, quiet and rural with a spectacular location in the North Wales countryside. Lack of light pollution makes the night sky amazing in the hot tub. The host is wonderful and the place is top drawer. If you want city service this isn't the place for you, if you want quiet rural bliss it is. Tiddles the cat frequently visits too, so if you like cats she is fab (thanks for the mouse...

Nice and cosy quirky property

Absolutely amazing, great location, nice and peaceful. Host made sure that me and my friend are happy with everything and she was available if we needed anything. We had a lovely welcome gift ( Prosseco, chocolates and delicious Welsh cakes), the hot tub was warm and ready for us on arrival. About 9 minutes drive to Zipp World, 12 minutes to little town called Betws- y- Coead where you can go for lovely food, walks and explore Beautiful waterfalls. Not far from sea side as well, there’s...

We had a brilliant stay. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. The cottage was well set up and clean and organised. It was exactly what we wanted from board games for the children. To firewood for the log burner. Thank you son uch we would definitely like to visit again

Gloriously remote! These holiday cottages are located down a narrow, winding track, so the detailed instructions provided by the host were invaluable. The cottage lights and heating were on when we arrived making for a cosy welcome on an autumn afternoon. The bedroom and en-suite were carefully presented and very clean and the kitchen was supplied with all the necessary equipment to prepare meals and snacks. The cottage is within easy driving distance of many North Wales places of interest...
