"What a delightful treat to stay at this property. It was a perfect place for a relaxing girls weekend. The breakfast was amazing. Views-stunning! "The hotel is on top of a hill surrounded by trees. Breakfast buffet is excellent with lots of variety, the pool and surrounding area is very well kept and has both kids and adult sections. The staff is very friendly and helpful in getting everything arranged. The restaurant also can be recommended. There is not much around it so using tax or public transport is necessary. But doing tours to Pompeii, Herculaneum or Capri is not a problem"

B&B Hotel Napoli

8/10 Good

"Hotel is very nice and clean. Location is very central to train station."

Royal Continental Hotel Naples

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice hotel, great location, steps from Gino Sorbelli Pizzeria, jogging route in front of the hotel, nice shower, balcony allows for extra sunshine, breakfast was really good and nutritious, Parking garage was so convenient. You should stay here! I'm glad I did. Warmly, Laura from Chicago."

UNA Hotels Napoli

10/10 Excellent

"The location was perfect for those intending to use the train system for tourism, like going to Pompei or Rome. The room was very good, breakfast was excellent and the staff very helpful and kind. Despite facing the train station the acoustic isolation of the room was perfect. The only cons: I wasn’t offered a room upgrade, the 20% discount in beverages and foods was never mentioned and I was not able to reduce the water temperature of the shower. I would definitely stay there again and can recommend this hotel"

Eurostars Hotel Excelsior

8/10 Good

"We recently stayed at the property with my family for 1 night - 3 rooms in total. We were drawn to the rooftop which has amazing seating outdoors. However we got rain during our stay and dined indoors. While lovely it’s quite quiet. One thing this hotel is lacking is a bar. There wasn’t a space for us to get together before dinner where we could have a drink due to the inclement weather. They have a function room you can sit in but don’t offer any service there. Our room was a great size and the location was perfect for what we needed."

Palazzo Salgar

10/10 Excellent

"The hotel was lovely; clean, quiet and comfortable. It was well located for our three night stay to see lots of museums and galleries and visit Pompeii and Herculaneum. Good location for Duomo Metro and the main Central railway station. Nicola and the staff were friendly and professional and always seemed to be on duty! The breakfasts were great! Lots to choose from! Thank you for a wonderful stay in Napoli."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Celsa Village?

The best area to stay in Celsa Village is within the historic village centre itself.

This area is the heart of Celsa, characterized by its narrow, cobbled lanes and traditional stone buildings. You'll find a selection of boutique hotels and charming guesthouses located amongst local shops and trattorias. The main square, Piazza del Popolo, is a central gathering point, often hosting local events and offering outdoor seating for cafes. From here, you can easily access the Celsa Castle and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Couples will find the village centre particularly appealing for a romantic escape. The intimate setting, with its historic architecture and quiet evenings, provides a lovely backdrop for strolls and relaxed dinners. Many accommodations in this area offer balconies with scenic views, superb for enjoying a morning coffee or an evening aperitivo together.

For those looking for a bit more space and direct access to the countryside, the areas just outside the historic centre, but within a short walking distance, are also excellent. These often feature villas or agriturismo properties with larger grounds, sometimes including private pools and gardens.

When is the best time to go to Celsa Village?

The best time to go to Celsa Village is during the shoulder seasons of May, early June, or September, when the weather is pleasant and the crowds are thinner.

During these months, you'll experience warm, sunny days great for exploring the village and its surroundings without the intense heat of mid-summer. The sea temperature is also comfortable for swimming, allowing you to enjoy the coastal activities.

Couples looking for a romantic getaway will particularly appreciate May or September. The fewer visitors mean a more relaxed atmosphere, making it easier to enjoy quiet dinners with stunning views or leisurely strolls through the village's narrow streets. You'll also find it simpler to get reservations at popular restaurants and secure prime spots on the beaches.

Solo travellers seeking a peaceful escape will also find these months ideal. The pleasant weather is great for hiking along the coastal paths or exploring the historical sites at a comfortable pace.
