"Great stay at St Mellion. Staff were friendly and helpful, spa was lovely and relaxing and not too busy. Great facilities, had a look in the gym but didn’t bring gym clothes unfortunately, as it looked really well equipped. We had dinner in the Brasserie, starters were not the best but main course was really good. Room was slightly dated but very well kept and bed super comfortable. We had a balcony looking onto the course which my partner appreciated. Stayed for our anniversary and had a bottle of prosecco and card in the room which was a really nice touch. Really good breakfast and easy checkout. Would stay again."

(things like slanted floors and the room call bells on the wall in the foyer) The location was perfect for exploring the waterfront and catching ferries. The only issue, which it can’t do anything about, is the lack of an elevator and we stayed on the top floor. The very last flight upstairs was curved and very narrow, but a couple of very friendly staff members helped us with our luggage."
