Loved my poached eggs and grilled tomatoes. Evening meals enjoyable, good honest pub food, nicely presented, large portions. Unfortunately I didn’t sample starters and deserts because I struggle to eat two courses. I was exhausted from walking from cremmyl with my 31lbs backpack, and also desperate because it was supposed to rain soon and I didn't have where to go.. booked thru Expedia (another huge mistake) cause I found an amazing price.. what I did not realize, tho, was that I was booking for the following month. As soon as I reached the property, less than 15 minutes later, I talked to the manager and found out my mistake and she refused to give me any refund or even to try and accommodate me for that night. Expedia also refused to provide anything and the chat assistant is sh!t. Anyways, I don't recommend halfway house inn to anyone!! Rooms were clean, however a little dated in decor. The staff were friendly. Pleasantly Quirky bed and breakfast. Dog friendly. Great staff. Great food. Room comfortable and clean. Could do with a new blind in the bathroom as the widow was clear glass and privacy was limited. The TV seemed to have its own agenda. It would come on during the night. We had chosen room 5, big enough bedroom and very big bathroom, only drawback is that it's over the pub bar although this didn't bother us.
