This small hotel has an interesting history and is very close to shopping and the Exeter Quayside. We received a very warm welcome on arrival, with tea and biscuits. Our bedroom was very comfortable with a well appointed bathroom. Although a limited menu for dinner the food was freshly prepared, plentiful and delicious. Breakfast is excellent with fresh orange juice, pastries, and a good choice of hot dishes. Loved the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup! Like dinner everything was freshly prepared. Service was friendly, nothing was too much trouble.
