"Staff very polite and helpful, however the lifts in the resorts were really bad, very slow and not enough lifts for the number of rooms, sometimes i had to wait well over 5 mins to get into the lift, my room was on the 8th floor do could not really use the stairs"

"We stayed here because the prices were better than just about anywhere else in central Cardiff for the weekend, so we were willing to forgive a lot, but unfortunately we were still pretty let down. The staff on site were very nice and trying their best, but the facilities (reception, hallways, elevators) are all very rundown and dingy. The room was clean enough to stay in but a lot of wear and tear was very evident on the furniture, with an old battered TV and uncomfortable beds. Also there's no central air and you can't open windows, so it gets stuffy and hot fast. Not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in but I definitely wish I'd paid a bit extra for somewhere nicer."

"Bit disappointing to be honest. Booked via Expedia specifically for a sauna/pool and then found out despite being listed as a hotel with pool in the filters it's a prebooking required and hefty extra fee..! The lady was lovely and apologetic so no issue there but I wouldn't have paid for this hotel marketed as having a pool, sauna and lovely rooms (the photo on the website of my room does not reflect the room I'm in). Not only that but my room is sandwiched between the lift and further rooms, a corner room. With no natural light overlooking the loud bar that kept me up for HOURS and meant my corporate work event the next day didn't go anywhere near as smoothly as it should have. I booked my coworkers into the IHG down the road and their rooms were much nicer for a cheaper cost. Hopefully my review helps people to look into things a bit more before committing to booking the more luxurious option as it really left me feeling exhausted and underwhelmed. 10/10 team though. The hospitality and service was great and suggests they do look after those who work for them."

"This is a great hotel option. Rooms very clean with two double beds - hard to beat for the price. Ev charging is excellent. £10 for a minimum of 6 hours allowing a full charge on my car. When compared to the price of local public charging (£30-£40) this is a fantastic additional benefit. Only slight negative is that the hotel only allows guests to all check from 3pm even if rooms are ready. This meant we had to hang around for 45 minutes to check in at which point a crowd of guests were also queuing to check in. Please review the approach for check-in as there has to be a better way!!"
