It is a beautiful setting and the staff is courteous. The hotel is a little far from the action where the main city is... peaceful and quiet but too long a walk in case you’re there for sightseeing.
Easy to find, good parking and excellent customer service.
lounge bar was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great Bistro, lovely room. Place full of character. Am booking again for next year!!!
Was a nice room with everything needed. Could possibly do with air conditioner as fan provided didn’t cool the room and could hardly be felt. The shower is in one fixed position which isn’t great for taller people. The temperature dial is also very sensitive. The water goes from freezing to scorching ...
Stayed in room 7 at the top floor. Arrived into the room and it was freezing and the heating didn’t work well. I had a water tank above which sounded like someone was going to the toilet all the time. Bed was uncomfortable. I asked for another room and they gave me an executive suite. Food was good ...
Location - by rail station and bus stop just £1 to go to town or anywhere. Handy for great food shopping and eating places and bars. Food and drink at hotel also very good at a good price. Lounge on 1st floor for breakfast and general use very nice and bright - view over the station square
Poor stay - a shabby worn out hotel in serious need of a refurb. I have stayed in better accommodations for less than half the price this cost. Do NOT book this hotel, over-priced dump.
