Lovely place for working in the area. Good sized rooms, showers a bit disappointing but did the job. Comfy bed.

Staff were excellent, particularly the check-in staff, and Bistro staff We didn't like the fact that there is no on-site parking, and that we had to walk a significant distance for parking. Thankfully it wasn't raining!

Easy check-in on arrival. We arrived early but was able to use spa until our room was ready. Our room was spacious and the bed was so comfortable. We could have done with firmer pillows but that is personal preference. The shower could do with a deep clean as there is black mould starting to grow along the bottom of the doors… other than that bathroom was very clean. Good storage space, kettle with tea and coffee, and hairdryer provided which was handy. The iron didn’t work properly but we forgot to report it. Being a ground floor room we found It was quite cold especially at night time and with it being August the heating wasn’t on so we had to put the plug in heater on which was already provided in the room. Breakfast was included in our stay, and after previous experience we’ve gone elsewhere for grub but this was outstanding. One of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had. The selection was amazing. Full English. Continental, plenty of fruit, yoghurt, pastries etc so much to choose from. Quality of the food and the fried breakfast wasn’t greasy either. Perfect! Service was slightly slower on the Sunday morning but we thought this might have been due to short staff. The spa was average. Having paid the same price for better spas before we were a bit disappointed. On the Friday, there were a lot of teenagers throwing a ball around the pool - bit off putting when you’re trying to relax. Facilities were clean but very basic. Over all a good stay!

The staff made the property shine. Very friendly, efficient and seened genuinely concerned that everything was ok. We had a problem witb our tv which they couldn't fix so they gave us another room. Breakfast was excellent. Rooms were attractively decorated. Overall a lovely one night stay.

The staff were excellent to me and my wife, really liked the coffee lounge area
