"The property was only a short bus ride out of the centre of Newcastle. Whilst the area initially looked run down, the hotel deserves more than a 2 star rating. The staff were friendly and helpful and arranged a taxi for us early on the morning of our departure so we could collect our hire car at the airport. A short walk up a couple of blocks and you can enjoy some fine Persian food at the Rose Restaurant. We had a peaceful night's sleep on a comfortable bed. The shower was a bit tight, but workable."
