Renaissance London Heathrow Hotel

"This is a great hotel to stay. The staff are helpful and friendly, the large lobby is great for meeting up with friends or hanging out. The rooms were quiet. We had a problem with the thermostat in our room, not sure if we couldn't figure it out but it kept resetting itself. There's a small "tuck " shop where you can pick up insundries and a small cafe where you can get a coffee. The restaurant has a good menu and the food and service was great. We also used the bar, where we had a light snack and great non-alcoholic cocktails. Perhaps best of all is the hotels location close to Windsor for a day out but most of all for those who love plane spotting it overlooks one of the runways. I probably spent 3 -4 hours standing on the grassy mound outside watching the planes."

"Our room was a nice size, and I was super happy that there was a bathtub and plenty of towels. However, I was disappointed that there was no coffee or tea available to make in the room, although there was a pot to make it in. (A sign said you could buy it at the bar, ugh.) I was told that I could catch the bus at 5:15 a.m., but they were wrong - it didn't come for another half an hour. I did meet a nice lady while waiting. It would have been great to have been able to stay in my room an extra half an hour though."

"Modern, clean and a great option for a T2 or T3 departure. The 105 bus stops right outside the hotel, which made getting to Heathrow simple. The hotel feels new and well maintained. My room was comfortable and had everything I needed, including a very comfortable bed, plenty of plugs and USB ports, a kettle, complimentary water, safe, iron and ironing board, toiletries and, unusually, two empty fridges that you could stock yourself. The restaurants were another highlight. They overlook the T2 runway, the food was tasty and service was excellent. There is also a well-stocked convenience store in the lobby. Parking was plentiful, with a reduced overnight rate for hotel guests. The only frustration was that one of the two elevators was out of service, which sometimes meant a long wait for the remaining small elevator. The centrally located stairs were an easy alternative once I did not have luggage. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would choose the hotel again before a T2 or T3 flight."
