"I stayed here solo, while working. The staff were so friendly and helpful, I felt very welcome. I sat in the bar to do some work and it was a very relaxing atmosphere. Food was lovely too. The staff really are amazing, speaking to people and showing kindness. Bed was comfortable, it's not far to walk to the beach so it’s a good location. Would definitely stay here again."

"We had a very good stay. The hotel is quite basic but it is clean and comfortable. We booked two rooms for two nights. Both rooms were clean and suitably furnished. Breakfast was quickly delivered to order. The staff were friendly and helpful. There is no parking at the hotel but it is surrounded by parking options and we used just park to find a cheap option."

"Enjoyed my short break here. The bar area is smart and welcoming and the staff friendly. Excellent breakfast provision as well. The actual bedrooms are old-school but decent enough and clean. The pool is fine but check if there's any planned classes with front desk first. In a quiet area but not too far from town/Winter Gardens. Would return for my next Bournemouth break."

"Amazing hotel with a fun history. It has seen better days of course, some areas a bit cold or looking old. But it is a very impressive building, and I was delighted with my stay. The garden and the terrace at the back are great and when you go up to the terrace it's a nice view to the sea. It's a good location, and right beside the Russel Coates Museum which is definitely worth a look."
