"They had to enter our room three separate times to let the cable repairman fix things. Low ceiling and only one tiny window that just looked at wall of neighboring building. Did not look like pictures of "typical" room from listing. On plus side, things were generally clean and staff was helpful. ..."

"Property is perfectly fine — nothing special, but clean and reliable. Lots of good food options around. Great staff for check in but uninformed and unhelpful staff in the evening which is reason for lower rating."

"The property was undergoing some renovations which led to an untidy feeling, but what had been done was very nice. The room and bathroom were simply and tastefully decorated and everything was very clean. Everything worked properly. It’s in a convenient location in Watertown not far from stores and ..."

"This was our first time in Boston and so glad we stayed here. We were in the Beacon Room. Loved the room, very comfortable bed, and private bathroom. Loved that it faced the street, however at night it was noisy, but I played a fan noise on my phone, and we slept so well. It is in such a beautiful area. Just down the block we enjoyed the Busy Bee Restaurant & Diner and Tatte Bakery & Café. We enjoyed the half a mile walk to Fenway Park. Very close to the T. We were so lucky to have such beautiful weather. Definitely recommend the Beacon Inn 1087."
"There was a significant problem as my flight had been delayed and the emails I sent to both Expedia and the Sheraton telling them I was delayed had not been read / or received. Expedia were useless. Uncontactable and unhelpful. Finally the email was found and my booking was honoured by the hotel for which I am truly grateful. Expedia say 'let your hotel know' and offer ways to send messages. NOTE They did not send any of the messages I wrote to the Hotel or answered my queries. I was alone in Boston late at night with the very real possibility of not hotel unless I paid again. Disgusting."
