We had a lovely stay and enjoyed breakfast in the terrace in the morning and the bar in the evening! It’s perfectly located to explore Edinburgh and has loads of easy transport links nearby. Would definitely recommend. "

"Great location, just a 5 min walk from the metro - and theres actually a sneaky way that makes it even closer that we didnt know about til we left - they have an elevator that goes down below the bridge where theres no foot traffic making walking w/luggage a breeze and goes straight to the train station. They had a full restaurant and offered an AYCE order off the menu breakfast at a very reasonable price - 18 euros a person i think? Comfortable bed, nice soaking tub. Tub and shower are separate so you can enjoy a Japanese style bath if you wanted. Only downside is that the room i got was a "city view" and our view was just a brick walk. We joked about how bc the room came with photographs of the city on their walls that that was made it "city view" lol. However, we don’t travel to just look out the window of our hotel. We wanna get out there! I'd just say dont bother paying more for a room that claims to have a view. I'm sure some do but you may not be so lucky. Again, location was great. Not only dist to metro but to the heart of Edinburgh- minutes from Calton Hill w/a great view of the city and all the shops/restaurants/castle."

"We had a wonderful stay at the Aparthotel Adagio! The front desk staff were all very kind and helpful. They also let us check in a little early for no charge if you sign up for their email list. The room was spacious and comfortable for our stay. The location was also amazing and was in walking distance to all the major attractions/shopping/food. We also tried the hotel breakfast on our last day and there were plenty of options to choose from and was worth it for the price if you're looking for something convenient."

"We liked this hotel very much. It was comfortable and had a great location in the center of a lot of attractions in Old town. It was convenient to shop then drop your purchases in the room and not have to carry them around. The two tours we took met right outside the hotel. Could go back to our room to use the toilet and never had to use the public toilets. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. The recommended parking was ½ mile away and up hill on arrival, we were fine but it could be challenging for some I suspect. Although we did see one family pull their car up to unload luggage then go park their car. It was a fantastic stay and would recommend this location/hotel. "
