Checked was easy and straight forward with a pleasant receptionist. We had booked a deluxe room but were upgraded to a suite. It was very spacious and comfortable with a huge ensuite bathroom/wet room. Breakfast was ok, we were seated in the bar area and had to go up some steps into another eating area then down some more steps to the buffet which was a bit strange but ok if you are mobile.

"Cheap and handy for Union Sqr and train station."
A quirky, Italian-owned hotel with downstairs restaurant. Didn't eat there, but cooked breakfast was nice and non-greasy. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms simple and basic, but comfortable. No lift, so not suitable for the elderly or infirm.
Really good facilities in a great location. Staff were really good and friendly. Plenty of space, good parking and close to all amenities and city centre
Milk provided in fridge and a good range of crockery etc
Pets allowed which was good
Upgraded on arrival which was excellent
Breakfast basic but well presented and good quality. Breakfast room was a bit noisy
Would definitely use again and recommend to friends
The Hotel is set in a quiet residential area, was once a house, now extended at the rear of the property.
The staff we met were all very friendly and accommodating.
Our room was spacious enough for a 2 night stay and had its own en-suite bathroom.
The price we paid for a 2 night stay with a cooked breakfast included was very good value.
A minor gripe for me was the bed mattress but on balance the experience was positive.
Very good experience we lodged in an apartment 2 bedrooms and kitchen, washer and dryer complimentary, a drink also as a complimentary never seen that before we had a whiskey after after a long walk downtown very close to restaurants and shopping personal the most helpful and ver nice
"Can't be a better place to stay in the city centre"
An ever-present gaggle of smokers blocking the entrance didn't give the best first or subsequent impression however once inside we felt we were in a hotel that knew how to treat its guests. Friendly, patient and helpful reception staff immediately made us feel welcome. A good room with, for me a vital feature, a powerful, hot shower 10/10...and everything working. Comfortable room temperature. Good firm bed. View only of an internal void, but room not dingy. No noise issues, and believe me I would know. Superb breakfast buffet with very attentive staff. The place was great but its people were a bonus. Very convenient for airport bus, local transport, every type of retail outlet, coffee shop, pub and restaurant you could want. And only a short bus ride/20 minute walk to the beach. And then there's all the architecture.
