Our problem was lack of parking, staff sent us to a public lot that was over 1 pd per hour, did not accept notes or credit card. We went all over area trying to find change. Would not have booked this hotel if they had been honest about their parking

Pocket Guide: Pet-Friendly Hotels in Aberdeen

The historic city of Aberdeen offers a variety of attractive hotel options to suit all tastes and budgets. Experiencing authentic Scottish culture in a truly breathtaking location is easy in the ‘Granite City’. Arrange accommodation in the historic city centre, or in one of the quaint fishing villages on the outskirts of the city using Expedia’s search tool.

Classic Scotland

From museums and galleries to whisky distilleries and nature reserves, Aberdeen is bursting with exciting things to do. Visit the award winning Aberdeen Maritime Museum to discover the city’s fascinating relationship with the sea, or stop in at the Royal Family’s Scottish residence, Balmoral Castle. You can uncover the rich history of this prosperous city while enjoying a relaxing break away.

Interesting Museums

Learn about the compelling past of one of Scotland’s most famous military regiments at the Gordon Highlanders Museum. Winston Churchill once called them ‘the finest regiment in the world’ and their fascinating story covers 200 years of world history.

For something a little less intrepid, although just as central to the history of the area, visit the Aberdeenshire Farming Museum in Aden Country Park. Here travellers can explore the region’s farming heritage, including the making of the humble Scottish oatcake.

Unforgettable Walks

Whether it's a bracing stroll along the coast or a walk in Cairngorms National Park or one of Aberdeen's other green areas, there's plenty to enjoy for both you and your fury four legged friend. And after you're all exercised out, why not pop into a pet-friendly pub for a wee dram by the fire. Ideal, no?

However you choose to spend your time in Aberdeen, book your ideal hotel in this vibrant city with Expedia.
