The Kensington Hotel

"Very enjoyable stay for the whole family."
I have given this hotel a 5 star rating for my own personal reasons. It's not the ritz but it's a very nice, affordable, friendly hotel who allows teenagers to share a family room with parents. Other hotels expect teenagers over the age of 14 to have their own room which doubles the cost. ANYWAY back to this hotel, the room was lovely and cozy with a nice sea view and a separate bathroom with plenty of room. This was our 2nd visit and we had the same room whoop whoop. Breakfast was a proper fry up with many other options available meaning that even my fussy eater found plenty to eat. The staff were very friendly and I enjoyed having the room service, beds made and fresh towels each day! We only made use of the evening entertainment which is in the basement once due to spending our evenings walking the lights but it was very enjoyable and suitable for younger guests too. The price is right, the location is perfect and we were all comfortable. We are looking forward to returning again for another 3/4 night stay.

"great location"
was a stones throw away from the winter gardens which was what we wanted. great staff, clean but in need of updating. showers in our rooms were just a trickle and cold. To be fair to the manager, he had only been there for three days so couldn't complain to him too much. Have booked again for next year so hopfully, any problems will have been sorted by then. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of it and it was hot. Well done Terry, and Brian our server was a joy. For what we paid, cant really complain. Just needs a few improvements here and there. ,

"Lovely hotel, good location."
This hotel has recently been taken over by new management who are in the process of building up the business. We received a warm welcome on arrival, room was clean and well appointed with elevator access to our floor. Staff were very helpful and polite and nothing was too much trouble. Location along the queen's promenade in Bispham is ideal for a relaxing break and is very close to frequent transport links to Blackpool, Cleveleys, and Fleetwood. I would highly recommend the hotel, and would be delighted to return here on a future visit to Blackpool.
