view which was beautiful. The food was surprisingly interesting and clean - best breakfast we’ve had in a hotel in UK. Lovely attentive staff and good selection of whisky (which is why we went to Annandale). We ate in the restaurant both nights as there was enough choice to avoid repetition. Spent some time walking along coast and up the river to Brydekirk which was lovely. Town was also surprising with a lovely lunch...
