Loved the location, a stone's throw to the ski slopes (closed of course now) and many high fells. Only chip in their armour was the lack of hot water in the showers, or it might have been my inability to work out how to control the temp (tried a couple of shower cubicles though). Nice location, Warm welcome, Sufficient showers and toilets, Everything is good for a hostel except the off and on wifi signals.

Lady was nice and friendly on reception. Rooms clean and basic

Great location on the Pennine Way and good services and facilities. Slightly characterless common room though and welcome was less than friendly on arrival, otherwise I would have given an even higher rating.

Perfect cycling stop for LEJoG

Very comfortable rooms, great breakfast and the owners kindly took our wet jackets and boots to get them dry. Many others ataying near by had no boot drying facilities,
