"Picanha Steak was over cooked. Requested medium-rare but came out medium-well. Breakfast ok, the staff who “greeted” me at the desk didn’t seem interested un customer service. Room lovely however, had one of the renovated rooms. Clean, and well decorated "

"Pooley Bridge is a very small village nestled at the top of Ulswater. It has 3 public house & a couple of small shops. The crown Inn is perfectly placed by the river & in the thick of the village. The only downside is parking a busy sunny days! Staff at the Inn were very pleasant & helpful"
