Top Barford Hotel Reviews

Hilton Garden Inn Birmingham Airport

10/10 Excellent

"Got stuck in the bathroom due to a broken door handle only bad experience"

Royal Court Hotel

8/10 Good

"Very comfortable stay at the hotel. Room had everything we needed, even I-player on the TV! We ate at the hotel for our evening meal, and was not overly impressed with the food. It was good value, all things considering, but was not expecting a buffet style help yourself meal, which looked like it had been sitting there for too long and was a bit tasteless. A bit of a surprise considering how 'upmarket posh' the rest of the hotel looks."

The Regency Hotel Solihull

8/10 Good

"Room was clean, food in restaurant was good ,staff was friendly, lights in room 220 where I stayed I had no main light,so made it very dull and dark, need better lighting. Room was very cold but heater was good enough to warm it. Parking is free if you stay weekends, but cost £10 week day's 24hours seems unfair overall a good stay"

The Arden Hotel & Leisure Club

8/10 Good

"Very friendly staff including breakfast staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent with a good variety of food options."

The Swans Nest Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"Very comfortable and clean Restaurant and bar good options for eating In centre of town"

ibis Birmingham International Airport – NEC

8/10 Good

"Friendly and efficient check-in, which is always a good start. This was my second stay at the hotel this month and I would stay again. Very clean and comfortable room, no room for any complaint there. However, the dining/lounge area does let it down somewhat. The atmosphere is distinctly lacking in ambience, with too few comfortable seats, and it feels as though guests aren't particularly encouraged to linger and relax. The food is perfectly acceptable, but overpriced for what it is. The waiting staff were very friendly at breakfast and in the evening. The evening team worked very well together and very pleasant despite being run off their feet, credos to them. One thing that left a slightly sour note was the payment process. When paying by card at the table, I was given a total amount, only to discover after payment that a service charge had been added. It felt a little sneaky and would have been better highlighted by being given a copy of the bill before payment was taken. Overall, a convenient hotel with friendly staff throughout the hotel, and a great location for the airport, but I'll make a point of dining elsewhere before arriving next time."
