"What a fabulous stay at the Hotel San Tropico in the Marina area of Puerto Vallarta! Extremely easy to get to from the airport (8-10CAD) and in a lovely, quiet and beautiful residential area. A little far to walk to the grocery store but if you're into walking, it's great. There is a public bus you can jump on that will take you to the main highway for 10 pesos! "The resort is gorgeous and the service was excellent. We stayed 5 nights and were a party of 5 adults with 3 rooms. We ended our 3 week vacation here after traveling through Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende, Guadalajara and Mascota. We had a very relaxing beautiful time. My only are of suggestion for improvement is upon check in we were not given a tour of the facilities and we were never informed that there were activities like meditation in the morning or exercise class.
