"The drawer holding the safe was broken and nearly fell on my foot. When I reported it the receptionist’s first comment was ‘are you ok?’ That drawer and one in the desk were replaced very quickly. Easy access to airport, no need for bus/taxi etc"

"Large spacious family room. Had all amenities. Powerful and hot shower room in need of modernisation. Sink broken and shower chipped and cracked. Towels clean but stained . Exterior looking rather shabby and dated as was the room. . No sound proofing of room, could hear neighbours alarms sounding off at 2.30am . Worst off all, there was drilling occurring at 4am in the neighbouring kitchen, which is really unacceptable, otherwise would have given a better score ."

"Loved the teapot in the room and real teacups. The outside tables were full of empty glasses & plates the 1st evening I stayed. No tables were bussed. Why? Rarely was there anyone at Reception. Why? Appreciated notices in hallway to remind guests not to disturb others, to close doors quietly etc. Beds were comfy, sheets were good quality, nice pillows. Who thought a wood shelf around the bathroom sink was a good idea?! No noise from neighboring rooms was a pleasant surprise. Shower gel was completely empty. Why no Kleenex in room? Just toilet paper. All in all the best hotel I've stayed in, in Harlow. Thank you for a pleasant stay. I will be back!"

"Great location just off the m25 and A12 on the edge of Brentwood. Hotel as clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the pool and gym complex was excellent. We would definitely stay there again "

"Very well maintained hotel in a serene golf setting. Lots for kids and adults to do. The pool and spa were one of the best we have been to. The food in the restaurant could do with a bit of improvement."
