"We stayed one night in order to visit Talliston House in Great Dunmow. We had a wonderful stay. The room was lovely and warm, cosy and had everything we needed. We appreciated the milk, beverages and cookies. Everything was clean, the beds were lovely and it was a very quiet area. The gardens looked lovely, but weather did not allow us to fully explore. The cooked breakfast was a lovely start to the day. Faultless stay. "

"Just needed a quiet place to rest for a night after a busy day at a sports event in Tottenham. Bay Tree House was the perfect haven, with lovely views over Arnos Park. The hosts were welcoming and warm, and the breakfast was more than expected - freshly cooked and plenty of items to choose from. We drove, but the house is near a tube station for convenient access into London locations. Would definitely stay here again."

"A lovely place to stay right next to Greenwich market. 2 mins walk from the Cutty Sark and from the Uber water taxi which goes to the O2 or main Thames stops up the river. The room was nice, the shower room was a nice size. But the only down side was there was no where that said you have to go into the pub to check in! So not sure how it would work if you turned up after pub shuts. Also, we were in a rush to get to the O2 but spent loads of wasted time trying to find no 7 Admiral Hardy and...

The negative, the noise I can hear everything from the room next door. The bathroom needs to be up upgraded, The water pressure coming out of the shower was very low, to get hot water you had to leave the water running for a while. My opinion Is a good hotel for one night. "

"I stayed here for one night.It was okay the toilets was old had to flush,the breakfast was good the room was warm. And the place was in pub, it was okay for me because my Brother lived about 1/2 mile away. They need more stuff so you can your clothes to hanger. I had problems with the wi-fi.A part from that I may come back because it was cheap."

"We stayed 2 nights. The view of Maldon quay from our room was excellent. Breakfast was fantastic. The staff were lovely. We felt the hotel would benefit from an update if possible as access to the upetairs bedrooms is appalling, through part of the kifchen which also disperses kitchen smells upstairs. The stairs are also very steep. Bedroom flooring (old lino) needs replacing as did the bed and headboard. The bathroom has been reburbished and was fine. Our room had air con which we didn't...

"Great location for a gig at the Troxy. Although we were concerned about the shared toilet and shower facilities having read previous feedback it was no problem at all. Staff all really friendly and helpful. Sadly we didn’t have time to have a meal but all the food we saw looked great."

The only improvement opportunity I see is in the stiffness of the mattress in the bedroom, which is rather too soft for me, as I prefer slightly more rigid ones. The sofa bed should also be considered for potential replacement or upgrade. In all, splendid stay as usual"
