"This is such a wonderful gem in the lovely village of Painswick! The room is spacious and welcoming, so comfortable after a day of traveling! The owner is engaging and provides a perfect stay for travelers. Convenient dining options in the village within a 5 minute walk was an extra bonus. "Great place and great host! We had a room at the top of the place and it was a bit noisy outside at around 10pm but after that we slept great. Our toilet wasn't flushed from the previous guests when we arrived but besides that the house was spotless. Charles was a very welcoming host and made us an incredible breakfast. No salt and pepper. The TV remote control needs to be replaced. Control buttons not working . Could not get any BBC channels on free view . All small problems . The entry instructions were great and very clear. "
