Clean room good Breakfast

I stayed at Hotel Lobelia from July 12 to 15 and liked it so much I extended through July 24. The staff were consistently supportive and friendly throughout my whole stay. The location is fantastic, just minutes from the airport by foot or car, with a free shuttle included. With the cold, rainy weather lately, having free access to the steam bath was a real perk, a great way to warm up and ward off the aches and colds that weather like this can bring. The hotel also offers excellent value, with a complimentary breakfast included. My room was spotless and everything worked perfectly, right down to the in-room safe. Thank you, Team Lobelia, for a great stay!

Free but poorly organized shuttle (e.g., waiting over an hour for 3 planes to land while trying to fit 15 people with luggage into a tiny shuttle). Front desk staff are not aligned with one another and some need additional training. Restaurant amenities are fair and staff are attentive and friendly. Overall condition of the hotel is okay but rooms are dated.

My stay at this hotel exceeded my expectations. I stayed for over two weeks during my first visit to Addis Ababa, and by the end, it felt like leaving family. The staff truly make this hotel exceptional. Everyone I interacted with—from the front desk to housekeeping and restaurant staff—was warm, kind, and professional. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh and varied options each morning. The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming. As a frequent traveler, I’ve stayed in many hotels, and this one stands out for its service and hospitality. The location is also a major plus—convenient, safe, and close to restaurants and shops. I chose it based on reviews and was not disappointed. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Addis Ababa. It offers great value and a memorable experience. I will definitely stay here again.
