"This was probably the most ideal self catering property my daughter and I have stayed in since we started annual visits to Dartmouth in 1998. We loved the location, peaceful yet just a short drive to the town. The accommodation was spotless, spacious and provided everything we needed. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and the free range eggs, milk and scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam were an unexpected treat. A delightful stay in every way."

"We were a family group of grandparents, children, grandchildren and the house was perfect for us all. We especially liked that one young family could sleep in one area of the house and the other family in a slightly different area which avoided everyone being up once the youngest was awake. The bedrooms were all comfortable and lots of bathrooms which we love as a family. The kitchen/conservatory area is fabulous and far bigger than the pictures lead you to believe. "Beautiful place to spend Christmas. Serene, with the waves crashing below. It felt very christmassy especially with the tasteful decorations that had been arranged at the property. It has a very well stocked kitchen, is very comfortable and clean – it’s just the perfect to hang out and cook. Lovely walks close by and a shortish stroll in to Salcombe. I have been here a few times previously and hope to come many times more…"

"The house was fantastic. Very well equipped and the younger boys loved the bunk bed room (especially the tv in their room). The town centre is easily accessible from the house and so is open walking space. Lovely beaches within easy reach and breakfast or lunch at the Guardhouse Café on Berry Head is a must. The owner was great. Fantastic communication and a lovely selection of goodies on arrival. Highly recommended this property."

"Very spacious, well resourced property. Comfortable for a large family gathering and providing a home from home. Disappointing to find that bbqs were not allowed. Situated down a narrow access road, which proved difficult at times but within easy driving distance to Kingsbridge, Salcombe and Dartmouth. It's position on the South West Coast path meant access to some lovely walks. We were disappointed to find a large caravan park opposite which wasn't mentioned in the property details and the bin...

"My family loved our stay at Little Redlap. The house is large and gorgeous, with traditional features as well as a modern, light-filled kitchen where we spent a lot of time together. My family enjoys walking, and the house is perfectly situated for a beautiful walk into Dartmouth in one direction, and a stroll to the Green Dragon pub in Stoke Fleming in the other direction."

"What can we say other than “absolutely fabulous “. The house is amazing with beautiful views and facilities. Every bedroom is a good size so no one felt disadvantaged . The pool is perfect and beautifully warm . A big advantage is the local pub where we enjoyed a wonderful Sunday Roast . We felt very privileged to stay here and will visit again ."

"I've stayed there twice now on each visit to Plymouth. The rooms have been refreshed, clean and the area is generally fairly quiet. The location means you can walk to the Hoe, Barbican readily, and the Drake Circus is 5 minutes away. If I return to Plymouth, I'd readily come back!! And the staff are great :) "

"We had the best time onboard, we are a family of 5 staying 4 nights, there was plenty of room and the cleanliness and facilities were outstanding, glen and Emma are so lovely and brought fresh bottles of water, milk, bread. The kids loved the cereal selection and I adored the nespresso every morning on the quiet deck. "Fantasic staff, Jill served us breakfast both mornings, what could be better than eating a full English cooked to order breakfast overlooking the sea with a pot of tea or coffee, if a cooked breakfast isn't for you then a buffet style continental is available with a selection of fruit juices. The room we had was clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated with an ensuite bathroom, overall the room rivaled and in some cases was better than most 5* hotels i have stayed in. Unfortunately we did not take and swimwear so could not make use of the fantastic pool, spa and steam room, a mistake that we definitely will NOT be making when we go back in a few months. Overall it is a large hotel that has managed to keep a friendly, personal feeling rather than an impersonal multi conglomerate atmosphere that you get from others thanks to the wonderful staff. Luxury feeling, dining with uninterrupted views of the sea and a short easy stroll to the beach, ticks all the right boxes for us."
