"Although we didn't get to meet our hostess, the owner/host and his staff were fantastic. The pub was cosy and clean and extremely reasonably priced and the service was amazing. Very pleasant and friendly people who genuinely cared about making our stay pleasurable. Absolutely recommend and should we find ourselves down that way again, we will most certainly stay here. "The location of the hotel is great, we were visiting family in Torbay which is less than a ten minute drive from here. There are plenty of bars cafes and shops a short walk along from the hotel. if you dont want to pay for the hotel parking there is a public car park at the top of beach road that is a little cheaper. The hotel is well decorated and the reception and public areas were nice and clean during our stay. Our room was spacious and clean, it had tea and coffee as well as a mini fridge. The bed was comfortable, as were the two chairs in the room. Staff were attentive, polite and helpful. We'll certainly use this hotel again on our next visit to Torquay. "
