"We really enjoyed our stay at Rubblestone Cottage. The cottage was warm and comfortable, with everything we needed. A cosy living room with a window that looks over the meadow, which allows you to watch the visiting wildlife. Main bedroom was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food and the owner provides a great list of pubs, restaurants and takeaways. The lighting through out is well placed and there are some strategically placed night...

"The place was spacious and made an excellent base for exploring the Suffolk area whilst being really quiet. Shower wasn't great but they'd provided all the utensils you'd need for cooking and enjoying your stay. Bed had a rubber cover and there was a noisy liner under the bed sheet which made it very warm but it was comfortable. Decor and furnishings are fairly budget but it's good value and ultimately a nice space to relax and enjoy the evening after a day out exploring and walking."

"A very friendly host. Great location for walking on heath land and the Suffolk coastal path. Within easy reach of Minsmere and Sutton Hoo. Thorpeness is a very interesting fantasy coastal resort developed for the wealthy in the early 20th century. Worth a visit for its architecture alone."

"The cottage was perfect. Beautiful location and stunning property with everything you could need and more. The thoughtful gifts on arrival were well received as was the fully stocked kitchen. Games and a little lending library in the lounge, as well as blankets, towels and treats for the dogs were a lovely addition. Just simple little touches made this property 5 star. Things such as coffee pods, brand new dish cloth and sponge, tea, coffee, sugar, frying oil, cling film, flashlight, spare...

"Stunning views of the river, with boats sailing by. Large garden which goes down to the river with lovely walks. House basic but spacious, with a conservatory. Acess to the house on a rural track. We enjoyed lots of nearby outings."
