"We enjoyed every aspect of this holiday including the surrounding area of Dunoon, Inverary and the isle of Bute. The walk from the lodge to Benmore Gardens was a real bonus as much as the Gardens Abigail was very helpful with providing us with information and a problem with one tap. "Breath taking views. Tranquil location can hear a pin drop all day. The property overall is clean. The kitchen area could perhaps do with a little spring clean especially inside the cupboards. The bedding and towels are lovely and clean and smell fresh. Our real concern in relation to house keeping was the bathroom bin had not been emptied from previous guests and had used sanitary products in it. Perhaps a final check is needed. "Clean and nicely furnished room although basic amenities… only hand soap and a fixed bottle of shower/hair wash….. I expected a bit more…… Friendly staff. Location is good although if walking to/from town the front steps are a challenge not for the feint hearted! Stunning sea views. Breakfast was hot and plenty of choice. Overall I’d recommend."
