"Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "The hotel is in lovely grounds by the River Avon & has lots of parking space. The location is within easy reach by car of Kenilworth, Stoneleigh Abbey, Leamington Spa and Warwick. The room was quiet and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is a bit small but fine if not many are using it. Breakfast is a bit expensive if you pay for it separately and a bit early for us, during the week, but there was a good selection in the buffet and menu, although you had to pay extra for some dishes. The dinner was tasty although my fish dish was a bit salty. The hotel isn't very eco friendly. There were little water bottles in the bedroom & we were given more the second day. I saw a trolley full of them. This is a lot of plastic waste. There is no need for plastic water bottles: wevfilled our own water bottles with water from the bar. Also, although we were encouraged to not discard barely used towels, one of my towels was uneccessarily replaced."
