It was an excellent experience!

I’ve traveled far from the U.S. and stayed in many hotels, but Myriad Muscat truly stands out as the best for its exceptional customer service. From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms and genuine kindness. The hospitality here is unmatched—I’ve extended my stay twice already because I feel so safe, comfortable, and cared for. A special shoutout to Maryam, who made my first night unforgettable. She went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and supported. Her warmth and attentiveness set the tone for my entire stay. Every staff member takes their time to ensure you’re well looked after, and it truly makes all the difference. If you’re looking for a place where you’re more than just a guest, Myriad Muscat is it. The comfort, hospitality, and overall experience are second to none. I wholeheartedly recommend staying here—you’ll feel at home from the moment you arrive!

We stayed one night, in the basic tents with put up beds (but they were comfy and clean with warm blankets). Toilet block was nearby and clean. To reach the tents felt like going through an airplane, past the first class accommodation, past business class accommodation to the economy! That said there was therefore less light pollution and the view of the night sky was fantastic. The buffet was good quality and the dining area had a lovely atmosphere with choice of table and chairs or a more traditional Arabian style seating on cushions and low tables. Running up and down the dunes was fun and the sunset view wonderful. Be warned though were were not alone at the top of the dunes - there are lots of tour groups doing the same thing. The do have camels you can ride for 5 or 10 minutes, expensive and a bit cheesy but an experience unlikely to be repeated!

A little loud because of bar downstairs but it’s manageable. Overall a simple but pleasant stay
