"A lovely place if you want to get away from everything. A rural setting and would be a wonderful location for children - cows and sheep in the fields around and plenty of facilities for them. Need your own transport to travel into Bayeux or Tilly Sur Seuilles. A choice of accommodation - we had a nice chalet. There are wigwams, yurts, caravan. The whole site has a quirky atmosphere but is quite magical. Proprietor very friendly. "

"This was a lovely spot for touring Mont St. Michel area. Our room was well appointed. The host greeted us and showed us how everything worked. "We were hosted by a welcoming farm couple to the upstairs bedroom and private bathroom in their home. Beautiful farm village just 5 minutes drive from the town of St James where we could shop. "There was a hurricane this day, not VVF's fault indeed. Quite a few things might have gone better though : We arrived at 4:15pm and the reception was supposed to be closed. "The room had been renovated beautifully. Fully rewired with usb charging points and a plethora of lighting options. The bed was very comfortable with a bolster, two pillows and a decorative cushion per person, the most pillows we've ever encountered in France! Despite Cherbourg undergoing significant utility and road revamping, it made little impact in the hotel. Free parking was easily available within a few minutes walk 😀"
